A community phone line has been established to assist individuals who cannot work due to the impact of COVID-19, and need assistance to file for unemployment benefits.  This will allow you to call in and request an appointment with a community volunteer to assist you in filing your unemployment claim
 

Community Organizations within Lawrence have joined together to assist individuals needing help navigating the Massachusetts Unemployment System. Thanks to training by MASSHIRE, the following community organizations will assist you with your Massachusetts Unemployment questions and application:

• GLCAC
• ACT
• Lawrence CommunityWorks
• LMCC
• NLIP
• MASSHIRE Merrimack Valley
