The Greater Lawrence Community Action Council Inc. is excited to welcome back clients to 305 Essex St. for appointments and scheduled classes.

  • Have an appointment or be attending a scheduled class. WIC clients have the option to be seen without an appointment during posted WIC office hours.
  • Enter the building through the main entrance.
  • Wear a mask if 2 years or older.
  • Answer COVID screening questions.

No appointment?Warning

  • Do not enter through the Main Entrance
  • Proceed directly to the street-level Help DeskGLCAC’s Help Desk is open to provide referrals, resources and emergency assistance. The Help Desk is open weekdays between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; closed between noon and 1 p.m.
  • WIC clients have the option to be seen without an appointment during posted WIC office hours.

Safety Precautions

GLCAC has taken steps to ensure the safety of all clients and employees as it reopens its doors to the public.

  • All visitors 2 years and older must wear a mask and answer COVID-19 screening questions. Masks are optional for most GLCAC employees.
  • See-through partitions are installed in most offices.
  • All GLCAC office and meeting spaces have proper air ventilation systems.

To help stop the spread, please notify Chief Operating Officer Vilma Martinez Dominguez at vmartinezdominguez@glcac.org if you test positive for COVID and recently visited our offices.

Food Pantry - New Hours

food pantryGLCAC’s Food Pantry is open from 3 to 5 p.m. every Tuesday. Food pantry clients will enter through the main entrance at 305 Essex St.

 

 

 

All Food Pantry clients must:

  • Wear a mask if 2 years or older.
  • Answer COVID-19 screening questions.
  • Be prepared to wait their turn outside.

 

Child Care Centers

Masks are optional for staff, children, and families picking up children at our Child Care Centers at 581 Andover St. and 96 East Haverhill St. All other visitors entering our buildings must:

  • Wear a mask if 2 years or older.
  • Answer COVID-19 screening questions.

Wear Masks on Buses 

Masks are required for all staff and students while on GLCAC transportation.

 

 

 

 

Head Start

Head StartMasks are still required inside GLCAC’s Head Start centers and on GLCAC-provided transportation, per federal requirements.
